Guidelines and Policies
Before Your Appointment:
1. Booking Confirmation:
• Once you book your appointment online, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your appointment. Please review it to ensure all information is correct.
2. Medical History Form:
• All new patients are required to complete a medical history form prior to their first treatment. This helps us tailor our treatments to your specific needs and ensure your safety.
3. Preparation:
• Specific pre-treatment instructions may be provided based on the type of treatment you are receiving. For example, you may be advised to avoid sun exposure, certain medications, or skincare products before your appointment.
• Please ensure your face is clean and free of makeup upon arrival for your appointment.
• Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any necessary paperwork and prepare for your treatment.
During Your Appointment:
1. Consultation:
• Your appointment will begin with a consultation to discuss your goals, medical history, and any concerns you may have. This helps us ensure that the treatment plan is suitable for you.
2. Treatment:
• The treatment will be performed by our qualified aesthetic nurse practitioner. She will explain each step of the procedure and ensure you are comfortable throughout the process.
3. Aftercare Instructions:
• After your treatment, you will be provided with detailed aftercare instructions to help you achieve the best results and minimise any potential side effects.
General Policies:
1. Age Restrictions:
• Patients aged 16-17: Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to ALL appointments. Only certain treatments are available for this age group, and we will provide appropriate recommendations during the consultation. NO aesthetic injectable treatments offered for this age group.
2. Children Policy:
• For safety reasons and to maintain a calm environment, please do not bring children to your appointment. If you have a child, toddler, baby, or infant and there is no one else to look after them, please note that our clinic is staffed only by the nurse practitioner. Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities or personnel to supervise children during your treatment.
3. Cancellation Policy:
• We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel within 48 hours or do not attend your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.
4. Payment and Deposits:
• A deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your treatment. Deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours.
5. Confidentiality:
• All patient information and treatment details are kept strictly confidential. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us.
6. Suitability for Treatment:
• We will assess your suitability for the chosen treatment during the consultation. If the treatment is not suitable, we will discuss alternative options with you.
